Updated : May 11, 2020 06:49 PM ISTActor Shafique Ansari was a regular actor at the Sony TV show Crime Patrol. The actor has breathed his last in Mumbai on 10th May, ’20. The news of his demise was confirmed by the Cine & TV Artistes’ Association. CINTAA took to their official Twitter handle to make an official announcement about the death of the TV actor. ““#CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of Mr. Ansari Shafique (Member since : June 2008).” The twitter post read.

According to a TellyChakkar report, Ansari died of Cancer. A source has been quoted in the report as saying, ““Shafique Ansari was suffering from stomach cancer since a few years and he lost the battle to the deadly disease today.”
Ansari was also an assistant director and a writer and in fact, he was also one of the scriptwriters of the Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini starrer BR Chopra Productions’ Baghban.
