R.I.P Rishi Kapoor: Big B, Akshay And Others Pay Tribute
Updated : April 30, 2020 02:35 PM ISTMost of us woke up today to Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet announcing that Bollywood superstar Rishi Kapoor is no more. We were barely over the sudden demise of Irrfan Khan and just a few hours later lost another legend, one of the first names that pops up in our minds when we think of Bollywood. The Hindi film industry is heartbroken and quite a few of us are still not ready to accept that he is really gone. Chintu ji’s death has left a huge hole in our hearts.
Apart from his 102 Not Out co-star, Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, Anushka Sharma and Taapsee Pannu among other Bollywood stars took to their social media handles to mourn the passing away of the actor. While Big B shared that he’s destroyed, Anushka was at an absolute loss of words as she held her phone in disbelief. Just like us, Akshay also felt that we’re in the midst of a nightmare, whereas Priyanka Chopra called it an end of an era as she extended her condolences to Neetu, Riddhima and Ranbir Kapoor.
