Wanted for the murder of eight police officers, gangster Vikas Dubey who was on Thursday arrested by the cops in Ujjain and was being taken back Kanpur to be handed over to the local police handling the case. On Friday morning the news headlines stated that he was shot in an encounter by the police as he tried to flee after the police vehicle turned over in an accident on the way.
The world of Twitter however found similarities with a Rohit Shetty film in the whole matter and the filmmaker began trending on the platform and how. Twitter is now flooded with Rohit Shetty memes by those who associate car stunts with his movies and are drawing parallels of the encounter episodes that featured in his films.
Many suggest that the Vikas Dubey encounter could be a Rohit Shetty film in his cop universe while others are waiting now for a movie announcement on the case waiting to see who in Bollywood picks up the case.
