Sahil Anand Reveals He Has Tested Positive For Covid-19, Admits, 'Although I’ve Tested Negative, I’m Still Recovering'

Actor Sahil Anand who is popularly known as Anupam Sengupta on Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2  had tested positive for COVID-19 a while back. After being quarantined at home for a few days, the actor has now tested negative and had recently shared a post on social media talking about it.

Sahil initially did not reveal anything about being tested positive for COVID-19 on his social media handle but has now shared his experience of recovering from the novel coronavirus. 

He wrote,  “To all my loved ones who missed me, I was recovering from the coronavirus in the past few weeks, and I’m more than happy to tell you guys that I’ve won my battle against the virus, and I’m free of it! I hope to recover completely in the coming days, and bounce back to normal very soon! Love you guys!”

Sahil also revealed why he didn’t open about his diagnosis earlier, He said, "The reason I didn’t come out about this before is that I didn’t want people around me to make a big deal about it. I’m a private person and I knew that this was my own battle, and I had to fight it on my own. This wasn’t easy of course. But I realized that with inner strength, and will, one can overcome any illness! Although I’ve tested negative, I’m still recovering from the effects the virus had on me…”

He further emphasized on staying mentally strong if you’re tested positive for the virus, Sahil concluded by saying,  “So in case you find yourself to test positive, don’t fear the virus- SCARE THE VIRUS instead with your inner strength and courage. Keep those immunity levels high, and nothing can shake you"
