Salman Khan Not Summoned By The Mumbai Police For The Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case
Salman Won't Be Summoned By The Mumbai Police
Updated : July 15, 2020 12:05 PM ISTIt has been exactly a month since Sushant Singh Rajput passed. Twitter is still replete with the nepotism debate and things are pretty grim on social media overall. The Mumbai police are making sure they question every contact and acquaintance of the late actor. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Ankita Lokhande, Kriti Sanon, Sushant’s ex-publicist, Sushant’s cooks, his family members, Yash Raj casting director Shanoo Sharma have all been interrogated by the cops.
Many things have come out in the open. However, the fight on the social media platforms against the Bollywood biggies like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, Ekta Kapoor, Salman Khan doesn’t seem to die down.
People are trolling Karan Johar for harbouring nepotism and are castigating him for not encouraging real talent in Bollywood. Salman Khan too has had to bear the brunt of it all for various reasons.
One of the reasons being, a rumour about Sooraj Pancholi and Salman Khan and how they were involved in Sushant’s death. This was later rubbished by Sooraj and his close acquaintances. Salman Khan’s former manager Reshma Shetty was called upon last week for questioning by the Mumbai police and it is said that recording the statements went for five hours.
And thereafter there were strong rumours that Salman Khan too will have to visit the police station or interrogations. However, the latest reports suggest the DCP has rubbished the case.
A complaint was also filed in Bihar against various Bollywood actors and producers which also included Salman Khan but that case too was nullified by the judge stating ‘jurisdiction limitations.’
We hope that the cops are able to get to the bottom of the case and solve the matter as soon as possible.
