Sanjay Leela Bhansali preparing to revive Inshallah
Updated : July 13, 2021 06:09 PM ISTSanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah was a much-anticipated project a few years ago when it was announced with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles. The movie again hit headlines when Salman Khan walked out on the project and it was shelved indefinitely. Well, looks like Sanjay Leela Bhansali has not only found Salman’s replacement but is putting things in order to revive the film.
According to reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will pair up Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan for Inshallah and plans are already in the process of making modifications to the script. While work is in full swing on his web series Heera Mandi directed by Vibhu Puri which will hit the floors soon, a News 18 suggests that since the shoot of Gangubai Kathiawadi wrapped up, the filmmaker is now focusing on Inshallah.
The same report also claims that Hrithik has had several meetings with SLB and has liked the script but asked for a few modifications. Inshallah may go on floors with the actor and Alia Bhatt in the second half of 2022 if all goes well.
Meanwhile, Bhansali has the post-production of Gangubai to get through while he is also reportedly directing the pilot episode of Heera Mandi.
