He began his journey in the field of entertainment with television shows such as Fauji, Circus and Idiot. In 1991, he decided to try his luck in films and a year later made his debut with Raj Kanwar’s action romantic drama Deewana. On 26th June 2020, the king of Bollywood completed 28 long years in the Hindi film industry, entertaining the audience all along with his spectacular performances.
While his fans began the celebration of his milestone from 24th June itself, SRK took to his social media handle today to share a special post talking about his passion and thanking the audience. He wrote: “Don’t know when my passion became my purpose and then turned into my profession. Thank u all for so many years of allowing me to entertain you. More than my professionalism I believe my passionalism will see me through many more years of service to all of you. 28 years and counting... and thank u @gaurikhan for capturing this moment.”
The superstar was last seen in Aanand L. Rai’s romantic comedy-drama Zero, alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film tanked at the box office and fans eagerly waited for Shah Rukh to shine again on the big screen. He will next be seen in a special cameo appearance in Ayan Mukerji’s much-awaited Brahmastra, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy.
