Shah Rukh Khan wants to be cast in Alia Bhatt's next home production after Darlings, promises to be 'very professional'

Alia Bhatt has begin work on her first film as a producer, Darlings and the actress who is also the star of the film shared her nervousness as she steps into a new role. The actress asked for good wishes and said she’d need it to match up with her co-stars Vijay Varma, Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew.

Her post attracted a lot of good wishes from her friends and colleagues including Zoya Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, co-star Vijay Verma among others. But the best and the sweetest one came in the form of her co-producer Shah Rukh Khan who asked Alia to cast him in her next home production.

Shah Rukh Khan replied to Alia’s post wrote, “After this production please sign me up for your next home production little one. I will come in time for the shoot and be very professional..promise!”

In her post Alia had written, “Day one of DARLINGS! my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first & forever (in this case a very nervous actor) I don’t know what it is .. a night before I start a new film I get this nervous tingling energy all over my body.. i dream all night about messing up my lines..become jumpy.. reach set 15 mins before time fearing I’ll be late! I guess this feeling will never go away.. and it shouldn’t - because being nervous.. and feeling unsure means you really really care ?? P.S - wish me luck pls (I’ll need all of it to match up to my co-actors @itsvijayvarma @shefalishahofficial @roshan.matthew)”

Vijay Varma who is her co-star replied on Instagram, “Same! Sleepless and on tenterhooks. But I got the best coactor/producer so I’m sorted. aap apna dekho darlings.”

Alia launched her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions and her project is Darlings.
