Shahid Listens To Nursery Rhymes In The Gym

Shahid Kapoor is enjoying the success of Kabir Singh which recently become the highest grossing film of 2019. The film is not only the career best performance of the actor but is also his biggest box office hit as a solo lead which came after nearly 16 years of his acting career. That, however, isn’t the most significant change in his life recently. A father of two, Shahid has had to bring in many changes in his personal life right down to the kind of music he enjoys.
In a recent interview with GQ where he spoke about the success of Kabir Singh and his aftermath in his life, Shahid also revealed how he had to tuck away his DJ deck once his daughter Misha was born and now after his son Zain’s birth he doesn’t even know where it is.
The more surprising revelation on his part was that he has been listening to nursery rhymes in the gym! “A friend of mine came up to me at the gym this morning and asked what kind of music I’m listening to. I said, nursery rhymes,” he was quoted saying in the interview. His friend was sure as startled as we are, “He was like, ‘Uhh… Alright, bro. Have a good workout,’” Shahid said revealing his friend’s reaction.

Talking about fatherhood Shahid had last year told PTI, “Fatherhood has brought a lot of change in me as a person and as a human being. My priorities have changed. I am less self-oriented now, because I believe actors can never be not self-oriented.”
Some years ago Shahid had made headlines for his DJing skills and had apparently converted the basement in his Juhu home to be able to enjoy his music as loud as he wanted to.
On the work front, Shahid is taking his time to sign his next project and has not signed any films post Kabir Singh.
