Shahid Kapoor to romance Bhumi Pednekar in Ali Abbas Zafar's next? Read deets...

For quite some time now, reports of Shahid Kapoor being a part of Ali Abbas Zafar's next had been doing the rounds. It was said to be a remake of a foreign film, that would go on floors in Abu Dhabi as soon as Shahid wraps up the shoot of Raj and DK's web series. Now, looks like the makers are also in the process of zeroing in on the lead actress.

According to a report in ETimes, Bhumi Pednekar has been approached to play the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor in the film. A source was quoted saying, “Bhumi could be finalised soon. The makers are keen on casting her because she hasn’t worked with Shahid before, so their pairing will definitely be a fresh casting coup.”

Well, it would be super interesting to see a pair like Shahid- Bhumi. In an earlier report in Peepingmoon, it was revealed, “Ali Abbas Zafar is one of the most impactful storytellers who's gauged the pulse of the mainstream Hindi audiences accurately. Shahid likes his work and always wanted to work with him, so when Ali approached the star with this specific script he immediately came on board. This is a film Ali has been planning to adapt for the Indian audiences for quite some time now.” We are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of the film!
