Shahid Talks About His Unique Bond With Neliima Azeem; Mira Shares Glimpses From Her Mother’s Day Celebration

Today on the special occasion of Mother’s Day, actor Shahid Kapoor took to his social media handle to share a sweet post for his mother Neliima Azeem. Along with a beautiful throwback picture of the veteran actress, the Kabir Singh star wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day. She is always the wind beneath our wings. Her gaze is loving and forgiving and always sees us as the best version of ourselves. She has nurtured us with so much love that we are capable of passing it on and spreading it into the world. Being the older one by almost 14 years my bond with mom has been very unique, like a friend. And our journey has been beyond words. There is no one who can be you mom.”

The actor went on to add that we should recognize mother earth as our mother too. His wife Mira Rajput, on the other hand, took to her official account to share adorable sneak peeks from her mother’s day celebration with daughter Misha Kapoor and son Zain Kapoor. Along with the picture of a heart shaped chocolate cake, Mira shared a glimpse of her Mother’s Day card made by Zain and Misha. Inside the card, the kids have written a sweet note which reads: “Dear mama, happy mother's day. Love, Zain and Misha.”

Along with this super cute post, Mira shared a heartwarming caption which read: “You two are my whole heart.. a small little piece for Papa.I love you my babies.” Now that’s what we call a happy family!
