Shekhar Kapur, Apurva Asrani Hit Back At R.Balki’s ‘Find Me A Better Actor’ Comment, Says Just Saw Kai Po Che
Shekhar Reacts To R.Balki's Comment On Star Kids
Updated : July 18, 2020 04:03 PM ISTActor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has culled out a huge controversy on nepotism. Things became worse with netizens abusing Bollywood biggies for indulging in nepotism and not allowing newer talents to come to the fore and flourish.
Right from Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, many have had faced the heat on social media. The barrage of negative comments continues to this very day.
Recently, in an interaction with Hindustan Times, R. Balki acknowledged that star kids have an advantage when it comes to their first time on screen. He went on to defend star kids like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt saying their talent is unmatched! He has been quoted by Hindustan Times as saying, “The question is, do they (star kids) have an unfair or bigger advantage? Yes, there are pros and cons. But I’d ask one simple question: Find me a better actor than Alia (Bhatt) or Ranbir (Kapoor), and we’ll argue. It’s unfair on these few people who’re probably some of the finest actors”.
Now, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has reacted to this comment. He took to his Twitter handle to speak his mind. He wrote, “Have huge respect for you, Balki. But I just saw ‘Kai Po Che’ again last night. Three new young actors at that time. And stunning believable performances by each.”
