Shilpa Shetty Kundra Opens Up About Daughter Shamisha, Says "At 45, To Have A Newborn, Takes Guts.”

Shilpa Shetty Kundra became a mother once again this year. She and husband Raj Kundra welcomed their daughter, Shamisha in March. While she had expressed how excited and grateful she felt to finally have become her mother, she had not talked much about her little bundle of joy. Now, she has opened up about it.

In an interview with Mirror, she revealed that she still feels surreal when someone asks her how her 'children' are doing. She also revealed how she had Shamisha just before the first phase of the Nationwide lockdown. She said, "I flew private to bring Samisha home because there was no way in hell that I’d bring a baby, born three weeks prematurely, with masks and all. A few days later, the nationwide lockdown was announced and I’m grateful for this time with my baby, which, as an actress, I wouldn’t have got otherwise.”

She also revealed how she suffered from post-partum depression when Viaan, who is 8 years old now, was born, but she sprung back from it within two weeks. She revealed that to be a mother once again at the age of 45 years is challenging.

Shilpa and Raj had Shamisha through surrogacy in March this year.
