Smriti Irani Takes Stand For Daughter Zoish Irani

Smriti Irani has always stood up against bullying. As a minister and a former actress, she has been trolled a number of times, but she had sprung back and given a befitting reply to them. So, needless to say, when her daughter was subjected to bullying, she had to stand up against it.
Smriti Irani had posted a picture of her with her daughter, Zoish Irani. One kid in her school took that as an opportunity to bully the teenager. He had reposted the picture with mean comments, something that make Zoish break down into tears. Smriti had to remove the picture because she could not stand her daughter’s tears, but she did not hold back from giving it back to the bully and spread a positive message.
She shared yet another picture of her daughter and wrote how proud she has been to be her mom. Here is what she said,
“I deleted my daughter’s selfie yesterday coz an idiot bully in her class ,A Jha ,mocks her for her looks & tells his pals in class to humiliate her for how she looks in her mother’s insta post. My child pleaded with me ‘ Ma please delete it, they are making fun of me’. I obliged coz I could not stand her tears. Then I realised my act just supported the bully . So Mr Jha , my daughter is an accomplished sports person, record holder in Limca Books, 2 Nd Dan black belt in Karate, at the World Championships has been awarded bronze medal twice; is a loving daughter and yes damn beautiful. Bully her all you want, she will fight back. She is Zoish Irani and I’m proud to be her Mom.”
