It has been almost years that the cinematic adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s popular novel, The Zoya Factor, had been announced. With Sonam Kapoor playing Zoya and Malayalam hottie Dulquer Salmaan playing the character of Nikhil Khoda, fans and audiences could not have asked for more. The film was slated to release in June 2019.
But looks like the dates have been shifted and fans would have to wait a little longer to see the film. The release of the film has been shifted and now the film will hit the theatres on 20th September 2019.

It is being said that the date was pushed so as that business could be maximized. A source close to the film had earlier said, Though the film is based on cricket, and director Abhishek Sharma was pretty keen on releasing it during the World Cup, the producers decided for a post-World Cup release to maximize box office profits. Thanks to this, The Zoya Factor will now hit screens in September.”
Zoya Factor is a quirky love story between an ad agency executive and the Captain of the Indian Cricket team, with the backdrop of cricket.
