'Stop Acting Childish' Team Kangana Ranaut Tells Anurag Kashyap, Clarify Teju Was A Children's Film Based On BFG
'Stop Acting Childish' Team Kangana Ranaut Tells Anurag
Updated : July 25, 2020 08:21 PM ISTA distressing match of allegations continues between Anurag Kashyap and Kangana Ranaut after the former alleged that the actress wanted to play the solo and young lead in the 2019 film Saand Ki Aankh. In the filmmaker’s recent claim he stated that after rejecting the film based on Haryana’s ‘shooter dadis’ the Queen actress announced a rival film Teju under her production banner where she would play an 80-year-old. The news according to his gave the Saand Ki Aankh filmmaker Tushar Hassanandani a panic attack.

And when did this film come and go. Just asking about Teju https://t.co/3au16GjGgK https://t.co/c8PkYfpPpe

Kangana Ranaut’s team has been relentless in clarifying all allegations and earlier stated that Kangana never spoke to Anurag about signing Saand Ki Aankh and was approached by the director and Vikas Behl. She apparently turned down the film saying she wanted two senior actors to play the part since it would be age appropriate.
Now, on Anurag’s comment about Teju the team claims it was based on a totally different concept.
A tweet about the same read - “Mr Kashyap Teju was a children film inspired by The BFG, Teju had to be created in VFX infact she wasn’t even a human being. Kangana mentioned in one her interviews Teju is an alien, She wanted to give her identity to Teju, how desperate can you get!! On SKA Kangana clearly told Vikas Bahl that elderly women will suit the subject of SKA, please stop acting so childish.”

Kangana and Anurag’s Twitter spat started after the actress called Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker ‘needy outsiders’ on national TV while slamming them for defending the ‘movie mafia’. The Manikarnika actress has since received a lot of backlash on social media.
Taapsee Pannu along with Bhumi Pednekar finally played the leads in the film Saand Ki Aankh.
