Sunil Gavaskar Trolls Virat Kohli Over RCB's Bad Performance, Faces The Heat For Dragging In Anushka Sharma
Anushka Trolled Over RCB's Bad Performance
Updated : September 25, 2020 11:32 AM ISTVirat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost their first match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Kings XI Punjab and as one would have guessed already Anushka Sharma was pulled up on social media for her husband’s performance in the field.
What upset many cricketing fans was the fact that legendary cricketer and the commentator of the match Sunil Gavaskar couldn’t stop himself for pulling Virat’s leg after RCB’s defeat and said, "Inhone lockdown me to bas Anushka ki gendon ki practice ki hai", referring to a viral video of the two where they were spotted playing in their building compound during the lockdown earlier. Gavaskar wasn’t the only one who dragged Anushka in. Many internet trolls to were ready with memes to pin the blame on the Bollywood actress.
RCB had a bad start with gaps in both bowling and fielding and Kohli missed two catches the majorly pulled down the spirits of RCB fans.
Many fans found the remarks to be tasteless and expressed their disappointment at Gavasker’s words and lashed out.

undefined src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" >It's shameful what Sunil Gavaskar commnted on Virat and Anushka's personal life. A player always has good days and bad days and yesterday was just a bad one which obviously doesn't give anyone the right to comment on any player's personal life @imVkohli @AnushkaSharma

undefined src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" >It's 2020. But people have the same sick mentality. Sunil Gavaskar, a "cricket LEGEND"(as he's called) said after rcb lost that "lockdown mein bas inhone anushka ki gendo ki practic ki hai".WHAT A SHAME. #shameongavaskar

"Inhone lockdown mei to bas Anushka ki gehndon ki practice ki hai," Sunil Gavaskar.
Not to mention the trolls who are after Anuskha for RCB's abysmal performance.
SHAME ON YOU LOT!!!
Esp you, Gavaskar!#RCB
undefined src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" >Targeting Anushka for virat's performance just shows the mentality of Indian media and people including you Sunil Gavaskar..

Since you are given that position you should use your comments wisely
Please behave like educated ppl#AnushkaSharma
Anushka is not new to trolls hounding her after Virat’s bad performance in a match. The actress has been called all sorts of names through her years of dating and subsequently marrying the cricketer. Both Kohli and Anushka have often chosen to ignore trolls but have also taken a stand time and again for each other.
