Sushant Singh Rajput Case: NCB Takes Late Actor's Cook, Dipesh Sawant Into Custody Till 9th September

The Narcotics Control Board (NCB) has been rigorously questioning many associated with Sushant Singh Rajput to look into the drug angle and whether it had any connection to the actor's death. So far, his house staff Samuel Miranda and Rhea's brother Showik have been taken into the NCB's custody and would be produced before the court. And now, they have detained another person in relation to the case.

We are talking about the late actor's cook, Dipesh Sawant. He was questioned by the NCB yesterday and late at night, he has been taken into custody. He too would be detained till 9th September along with Showik and Samuel Miranda. His lawyer told ANI, "He (Dipesh Sawant) was in their (NCB) custody since Sept 4, without his family being informed. He should've been produced before court within 24 hrs. We've filed a plea against him being kept in custody for over 24 hrs. Court has called for reply from NCB."

Today, Rhea Chakraborty had been summoned for interrogation by the NCB. An official was quoted saying, "We want to meet Rhea in front of Showik and Samuel to find out if she had any role in pushing Sushant into drugs." Her lawyer, Satish Manshinde claimed that she is ready for an arrest and has not applied for anticipatory bail.
