Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Showik Chakraborty Used To Purchase Drugs And Make Payment Through Google Pay Account: NCB

The Sushant Singh Rajput death case is now spreading in all different directions and now the drug connection with his case has become the topic of prime interest to the nation. Well, the Narcotics Control Bureau had sent notices to Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Jaya Saha, and hotelier Gaurav Arya after ED had disclosed WhatsApp chats pertaining to the use of narcotic substances. Now, fresh details are emerging where many drug dealers have been named and a nexus between the psychotropic substances and Bollywood too is being deciphered.  

NCB on Friday, 4th September, ‘20 has said that Showik Chakraborty, brother of Rhea Chakraborty used to purchase Ganja and Marijuana from drug peddler Abdel Basit Parihar (A resident of Bandra, Mumbai) and make payments through Google Pay account. 

These revelations were made by the NCB in the Mumbai court as Parihar was produced before it. Parihar is under the custody of NCB till 9 th September, ‘20. The NCB had also issued a statement earlier that Zaid Vilatra who has also been arrested used to be the “receiver” of Ganja or Marijuana from him.  

“Parihar, in his statement, revealed that he used to procure drugs from Vilatra and absconding accused Kaizan Ebrahim, as per instructions of Showik, and was directing them to deliver contraband to Samuel Miranda, the house manager of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput,” the NCB stated. 

Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Parihar on Thursday night whereas Vilatra was arrested on Wednesday.
