Supreme Court To Hear Rhea's Petition
Updated : August 01, 2020 10:01 AM ISTOn 5th August, the Supreme Court is likely to hear the petition filed by Rhea Chakraborty on Wednesday which states, the case registered on her by the Bihar police should be transferred to the Mumbai police.
After Sushant’s father Mr KK Singh filed an F.I.R. with the Bihar police against Rhea Chakraborty on charges of abetment to suicide, theft, wrongful confinement and cheating, the tables have turned completely. Everyone is in shock and everyday newer and murkier details are emerging from the investigation. It is increasingly becoming difficult to fathom who is actually in the wrong.
Rhea told the apex court that she is being falsely implicated in the case by Sushant’s father. Times of India reported, a single judge bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy will hear the matter. The Maharashtra government has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court to make sure no order is passed without prior information. On the other hand, the Bihar government and Sushant’s dad have also filed caveats.
Rhea had earlier told the Supreme Court that she had received many dirty social media messages, rape threats and death threats as well. She stated, she already was in a deep trauma due to Sushant’s death and the constant media monitoring on the case has worsened things for her.
