Sushant Paid His Managers Three Days Before His Death
Updated : June 18, 2020 02:01 PM ISTActor Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life on Sunday, 14 June at his Bandra apartment. Initially, some of his family members were incredulous and stated that it was a murder and not suicide but after the autopsy reports were out, it was confirmed that he died by hanging.
The actor was reportedly undergoing treatment for clinical depression and was also taking medications for the same. His medical condition is reportedly a reason behind this drastic step.
However, the actor cleared all his dues and payment to manager, servants and staff. While paying all the dues and debts, Sushant had told all of them clearly that he won’t be able to pay them further because of financial loss. To this a servant replied, “Aapne humara humesha dhyaan rakha hai, aap aise mat boliye, humlog kuchh na kuchh kar lenge.” (You have taken our care every time, please don’t tell us this, we will manage something from our side)
According to a ZoomTV report, one manager told that Sushant Singh paid him three days before his death. He also stated that Sushant’s depression was exacerbated after the suicide of former manager Disha Salian. He isolated himself after her death.
Times Of India has quoted a source as saying, “it seems that Sushant was facing financial crunch because of the contracts getting cancelled one after one.” Another source told the portal, SSR was about to get a contract worth Rs 14 crore for a web series with the help of his former manager, Disha Salian, who also committed suicide on 8th June 2020.
However, in a conversation with mid-day, an investigator said, "As per our investigation, Salian and Rajput spoke to each other twice in March on WhatsApp regarding some project. After that there was no conversation between them.”
Moreover, police officers also found that Sushant Singh Rajput stopped taking anti-depressants from 45 days before his death as he was feeling better. "We have only taken primary details from the doctor; a detailed statement has not been recorded. It will be recorded soon. As of now, there are no claims of financial issues by the family," an officer from Bandra police said.
