Dil Bechara Cast To Be Quizzed By Bihar Police
Updated : August 01, 2020 09:55 AM ISTThe Sushant Singh Rajput death probe is taking new twists and turns everyday. The F.I.R. that has been filed by the late actor’s father Mr KK Singh at the Patna police station has turned the tables and how. Currently there are four police officials who have arrived in Mumbai to delve deeper into the matter.
In the midst of all this hullaballoo, Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Siddharth Pithani has claimed that the Bihar police is forcing him to record statements against Rhea Chakraborty. In an email to the Bandra police on 28th July, he stated that Sushant’s family was pressurising him to record statements against Rhea and her family.
Vikas Singh, legal counsel to Sushant’s family told Mid-Day, "From what I know, Siddharth Pithani has decided to change sides. The family was talking to him because he was living in the [Bandra] house when it happened. Earlier, he was saying something else. He marked the copy of the mail to Rhea. Why would he mark a complaint to the accused? As far as Siddharth's credibility is concerned, it's a catch-22 situation."
And now, Bihar police is all set to question the cast of Dil Bechara. A source has been quoted by Mid-Day as saying, "Sushant was believed to be under tremendous stress during the last few weeks. So, the team wants to question the cast and crew to understand his behaviour on the set." It is noteworthy to mention here that the Bihar cops have already met Sushant’s counsellors. And according to the Bihar police source, the counsellors have informed them, Rhea’s family used to be present during the counselling sessions.
The team will thereafter, interrogate the doctors who performed the post-mortem. It was on a meeting held on the 31st July, ’20 that the Bihar police sought additional manpower from the Mumbai police to proceed with the investigation. "The Bihar police has submitted an application, which has been forwarded for legal opinion," a Mumbai police senior officer told the publication.
