Sushant Singh Rajput's Mumbai home up for rent, celebrity broker reveals the rent

It has been a year since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. While his death is still being investigated by the CBI, fans had come up with many theories as to why he had taken such a drastic step and whether at all his death was by suicide. Now one year on, his Mumbai home still remains vacant.

According to the realty firm that is taking care of the property, the house has been up for rent ever since Sushant Singh Rajput had passed away. Talking to ETimes, a celerity broker said, "The apartment has been put up for lease but has yet to get a tenant. Because of the pandemic, the property hasn’t received that many enquiries. The few interested buyers who have showed up have always enquired about Sushant Singh Rajput."

He added that Sushant used to pay 4.5 lakhs INR for the property and had leased it till December 2022. It has now been made available for 4 lakhs INR a month. He was living here with Rhea Chakraborty and his flatmates. The broker also said, "It is a beautiful sea view apartment and is ideal for creative minds and a good home for those who migrate to Mumbai for work. Once the pandemic ends and the world opens up to India again, we’re expecting renewed interest from expats and the corporate world, too. This house attracts people who like vibrations and the scenic view." But he also prospective tenants have been 'putt off' because of its history.

Sushant had been shooting in Budapest when he received pictures of this properrty. He was excited about it and had also opened up about it in a video.
