Many have been interrogated by the officials and now, Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager Shruti Modi too has been grilled by the CBI. Shruti’s lawyer Ashok Saraogi has said Sushant’s family filed a case against his client because she did not really follow their instructions, "It is possible that she did not follow the instructions of the sister, so they may have some grievances. They wanted certain account details from her which she declined to part with,'' he told the Times of India.

Saraogi further told the portal that Shruti Modi had found out about Sushant Singh Rajput’s drug habits 10 days after she joined and that she had already decided to quit because of it, "When she found out about it after 10 days of joining, Shruti decided to quit but Sushant told her to stay back and told her that he will not be party to it. So, she continued to work as his manager on this condition.''
Shruti’s lawyer also revealed that she was present at the meeting where Sushant was planning to secure his future. Saraogi added that it is an open secret that drugs are supplied to actors and politicians by a supplier called Imtiaz Khatri and that both suicide and murder are serious issues.
