Taapsee Pannu To Pair Up With Vikrant Massey For A Romantic Thriller!

Lovers of Hindi cinema, rejoice. In the coming months, and even years, we have not just some interesting films but also some new pairs to look forward to. Now, we have news of another new film announcement that will have a fresh pair. It is even more interesting, since this time, Taapsee Pannu would be paired opposite another powerhouse performer, Vikrant Massey!

Yes, you read that right. Taapsee and Vikrant will be romancing each other in a romantic thriller. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the film will be the second directorial venture for Vinil Matthew, who had earlier helmed Hasee Toh Phasee. The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Aanand L. Rai. Talking about the pairing, a source close to the film said,

“The makers thought a fresh pair would work in the film’s favour as it will keep the mystery element intact, since there will be no pre-conceived notions about them as a couple.”

The film will be shot in the Northern part of the country, which will also be the backdrop of the film.

Currently, Taapsee would be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad and Rashmi Rocket and another untitled film with Anurag Kashyap. She is also being considered for the Mithali Raj biopic. Vikrant Massey, on the other hand, will be seen in Chhapak opposite Deepika Padukone and Ginni Weds Sunny with Yami Gautam.
