Well, latest reports suggest that makers are now looking for another veteran actor to play Rishi ji’s role after the superstar’s sudden demise in April this year. A report in Mumbai Mirror states that the adaptation of the Hollywood comedy drama is currently in the pre-production stage and Deepika is expected to begin shooting by mid next year. The actress is currently busy with Shakun Batra’s untitled next, co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.

Other than Shakun’s film and The Intern remake, Deepika has many other exciting projects in her kitty. She will soon share the screen with husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s much awaited sports drama ‘83. The actress will also reunite with Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan for his comeback film Pathan, also starring John Abraham, and is expected to start work on Nag Ashwin's next with South superstar Prabhas in the first quarter of 2021.
