Varun Dhawan Injures Knee While Shooting For Street Dancer 3D

It is well known to cinema lovers and die hard Bollywood fans that their favourite celebs give  ore than 100 percent to all the films that they are a part of. So not just do the stars go an extra mile and learn something new if the character they will portray requires it. But, there are also times when the celebs often stretch themselves so much so that they get injured.

Something similar has happened to Varun Dhawan now. The actor, who is currently shooting for Street Dancer 3D, has injured his knee during an intense dance practice session.

A source close to the development of the film has said, “He has been learning some really tough Bhangra moves along with other dance forms like Urban and Street hip-hop. On Tuesday, while rehearsing with Rahul Shetty, Dharmesh and and Tashan from UK, he twisted his knee. But Varun being the professional that he is, refused to take a break. He simply had his left knee taped to support the muscles and carried on.”

The film, that is being directed by Remo D’ Souza, is expected to wrap up by July 25^th. The film will also have Shraddha Kapoor alongside Varun. Recently, even Vicky Kaushal injured his jaw while shooting for Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship. John Abraham too had to go through an operation because of his injury during Force 2.
