Varun Dhawan Wanted To Go For A Live In Relationship With Girlfriend Natasha Dalal, Here's What Convinced Him To Get Married

Varun Dhawan’s wedding rumours have been doing the rounds for a while now. The actor who is dating his childhood friend Natasha Dalal got candid about his relationship with Kareena Kapoor Khan on her chat show What Women Want. The catch was that the actress referred to Natasha as Varun’s fiancé and confirmed that the couple is indeed engaged.

The actor who awaits the release of his film Coolie. No. 1, was candid enough to share that he wanted a live in relationship with Natasha but his family insisted that he gets married. “Natasha and her parents have been pretty chill in that sense but I think after a certain period, you decide that you want to live with each other. She and I wouldn’t have minded a live-in relationship but my parents wanted us... Because I have my own place now,” Varun revealed.

Talking about taking the plunge the actor also spilled that it was after seeing his brother Rohit Dhawan lead a happily married life that he decided that it was something he wanted for himself. He tells Kareena, “See, marriage, coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long... I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and my bhabhi. When I saw my niece Niara, I was like, ‘This is good.’”

There have been many reports that suggested that 2020 was the year for Varun and Natasha to tie the knot but alas, the Covid-19 pandemic had plans of its own. Natasha was also seen at the annual Karwachauth celebrations held at Anil Kapoor’s wife Sunita Kapoor’s home which confirmed that a wedding was on the horizon and soon.
