Vicky Kaushal Is All Smiles As He Tests Negative For Covid-19, Prays For Those Still Recovering

Mr. Lele star Vicky Kaushal was happy to inform his fans on Friday that he has finally tested negative for Covid-19. The actor posted a picture from home where he can be seen smiling gleefully as he simply wrote ‘Negative!’ in the caption.

Vicky had only just begun shooting for Shashank Khaitan’s Mr. Lele with Bhumi Pednekar when he was found to be positive for Covid-19 earlier in April. The shoot of the movie came to a staggering halt post this and the actor was quarantined at home.

In his Instagram stories, the actor wrote today, ‘Tested negative today. Thank You for your lovely wishes and messages. My prayers for all who are recovering. Stay safe!’

On April 5, Vicky had informed fans through social media, “Inspite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor."

Not just Vicky but his co-star Bhumi also tested positive for the virus before him and is still recuperating at home.

Several actors tested positive during the ongoing second wave of Covid-19. Apart from Vicky and Bhumi, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Govinda and several others had contacted the coronavirus.
