Vicky Kaushal, Richa Chadha, Shweta Tripathi Celebrate 5 Years Of Masaan With Special Posts; Check It Out

5 years ago, a very special film titled Masaan finally hit theatres in India after winning many hearts and two awards at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. With a crisp, one of a kind story line and an ensemble star cast of incredibly talented actors including Sanjay Mishra, Vicky Kaushal, Richa Chadha, Shweta Tripathi and Pankaj Tripathi, Neeraj Ghaywan’s Masaan turned out to be a masterpiece and made a special connection with the audience. As the film turns 5 today, we hope more such projects are taken up by the actors of Bollywood in the coming future, because fans absolutely loved it!

On this special occasion, Vicky, Richa and Shweta took to their social media handles to celebrate the milestone achieved by their film with heartwarming posts. While Vicky shared stills and BTS pictures, Richa shared a post on her Instagram story. Shweta, on the other hand, penned a heartfelt message which read: “This day. 5 years back. One of the most important things for an actor is that first Friday, when the world sees them on the BIG screen for the first time. And I really couldn’t have asked for a better one. The team, the story, the characters, the place, the music.. all of it so, soooo special and close to our hearts.”

Remembering the premiere of their film, Shweta further shared, “We were in Benaras for the premiere. The city where where it all began ??✨Khud ka hair and make-up karke, muskuraatey hoe aur tummy mein bahut saari ? ko lekar pahuch gaye thee hum apni film sabke saath dekhne. We felt all kinds of ?then and still do. Thank you for the love, the poetry and the baarish. Thank you for making us your Devi, Deepak aur Shaalu."
