Vidya Balan seems to have made it quite clear that she is a no-nonsense of a person. Recently, while she was promoting Tumhari Sulu, she has once again established the strength of her personality and the ideals to which she strictly abides by. But, what had actually happened?

While out for promotions, a reporter asked the Parineeta actress when she would lose weight in order to play glamourous roles on screen. To this, with a calm smile Vidya replied, “It will be very nice if you can change your mindset about women than asking such questions.” Neither did she lose her temper, nor did she lash out on the reporter. “What’s the connection between women-centric roles and weight loss?” she further added.

Vidya Balan is known for strongly voicing her opinion when it comes to matters like body shaming and commodification of women. Her stand has been amply clear in many occasions. And her polite, yet strong words to the reporter, just reinforces her stand!
