The talented music director and the voice behind songs like ‘Mera Hi Jalwa’ and ‘Chintata Chita Chita’ bid farewell at just 42 years of age after suffering from kidney infection and COVID-19. His last rites took place today and brother Sajid Khan, along with his wife and children paid their last tribute. But his mother is still unaware that he is no more.

Wajid’s mother Razina Khan is recovering from coronavirus. Yes, she is infected with the virus too and is in Surana Hospital, where even Wajid was admitted. ABP quoted a source saying, “Wajid’s mother Razina had already contracted Coronavirus before the late musician was infected with the virus. Wajid, who was suffering from kidney and throat infection, tested positive for COVID-19 later. She is better now and her condition has improved. She stayed in Surana Sethia hospital to take care of her ailing son. However, she contracted COVID-19 after she came in contact with other Coronavirus patients at the hospital”
