Was Sushant Singh Rajput's Wikipedia Page Updated Before His Death As Claimed By His Fans? The New Theory Goes Viral
Sushant's Wikipedia Page Updated Before His Death?
Updated : July 01, 2020 02:25 PM ISTSushant Singh Rajput’s death has been one of the biggest jolts to the film industry in recent times. The actor who ended his life in the morning on June 14 at his apartment in Bandra was only 34 and reportedly depressed. The police have been investigating the matter and have recorded statements of over 27 people but the fans of the late actor are demanding justice for his death which they believe had something to do with his outsider status in the industry.
After several theories doing the rounds, the latest one to have cropped up on the internet is that his Wikipedia page was updated with the news of his death before he had died. According to the police, Sushant ended his life by suicide post 10 AM in the morning and according to the screenshots now going viral on Twitter, his page was updated at 8:59 AM with the news of his death.

The claim, however, is invalid as the page was updated by a Delhi based user at 8:59 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time, which Wikipedia uses) instead of IST (Indian Standard Time) which is five and a half hours behind. So in India, it means the page was updated at 2:29 PM.
The information can be accessed in the view history section of Sushant’s Wikipedia page.
