Arjun Kapoor To Fight With Crocodiles In His Next
Updated : October 25, 2019 01:20 PM ISTActor Arjun Kapoor is doing many films one after the other but not many of his films are being able to be commercially successful and this could be the reason behind his decision to experiment. The actor who will next be seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Panipat already has another project in his kitty and it is a Ronnie Screwvala film. Apparently this one would be a creature film. Now creature films are not all that common in our country. But given the fact that it will be made under Ronnie’s banner, we can have some good expectations from the film!
So, if media reports are to be believed, this film will be involving crocodiles and Arjun Kapoor will be seen amongst these deadly creatures!
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the project is yet to be titled and it involves crocodiles and it will be shot in Thailand. A source close to the actor was quoted in the report as saying, “Arjun is in talks with the makers. He has found the concept interesting. Besides him, there are two more important characters in the story for which Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh have been approached. The first stage of recce is already underway, and the film is expected to roll in the first half of 2020. A lot of training will be involved before the actors start shooting for the VFX-heavy film.”
Ronnie Screwvala is currently busy with the sports drama Rashmi Rocket that will be directed by Akarsh Khurana and will star actress Taapsee Pannu in the lead. The report further reveals Ronnie is experimenting with genres from ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ to ‘The Sky Is Pink’. Ronnie will also be reuniting with Vicky Kaushal for Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Manekshaw biopic, and he also has ‘Ashwatthama’, which is an action-based superhero film.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will next be seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum Opus titled Panipat which is a historical film and it will star Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on 6th December.
