Yuvika Chaudhary was doing this when she got a notice for using casteist slur in vlog; is glad Prince Narula is her husband

Actress Yuvika Chaudhary was arrested two days ago in a case of alleged offensive remarks against Scheduled Castes. Her lawyer Ashok Bishnoi confirmed the news and shared that she is on interim bail now. For the uninitiated, back in May Yuvika had shared a vlog featuring her and her husband Prince Narula. While the latter was getting a haircut at their house, the actress was telling her fans that she does not dress up while making these home videos. In the clip, she used a casteist slur which took the internet by storm. While Yuvika apologized for the same and clarified that she did not know the meaning, Haryana's Hansi Police registered a case against her.

In a chat with ETimes, Yuvika revealed where she was when she got the court’s notice. She was quoted saying, “I didn't know until a few days ago that a case had been filed against me. When I got a notice, I was in Pune shooting for a project. I had to leave everything and go for the investigations. As a law-abiding citizen of India, law comes above everything else for me and hence I travelled immediately to Haryana. There the police asked me several questions and they even have the phone through which the video was uploaded. I am back in Mumbai now but I hope everything gets sorted soon.”

Yuvika shared that back when she had shared the video, she had clarified that she did not know the meaning of the word. But now since it has happened, she feels all she can do is apologize as much as possible. Talking about her husband Prince and how he has been a pillar of support, she shared, “He is my partner and he has been there with me through out this entire process. Him being there has made things really easy for me and I am glad that I have him as my husband.”
