Did You Notice This Common Thing About All Of Zoya Akhtar's Films?

Zoya Akhtar is all set to set the box-office on fire even in 2019. The director will bring the lives of Gully Gang boys- Divine and Naezy into the theatres. While the trailer is terrific and beautiful and probably one of the best made trailers, ever, what really caught our attention was how smoothly Ranveer Singh is rapping.

In fact, Ranveer Singh himself will be rapping all the songs in the film. And that is actually what is common about all Zoya Akhtar films. 

Be it her super successful Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara or Gully Boy, in every film, she has made the actors croon their own songs, except for her debut film Luck By Chance. In fact, it was after one incident in her debut film that made her take this decision.

Zoya had revealed in multiple interviews that she gets particularly irked by the lip syncs and that it bothers her. She has also said that since she can not ultimately do without his lead actors crooning to a song, she has made sure that the actors themselves will sing their parts of the song, at least in one song. That's the reason we have the amazing Senorita in Zindagi Milegi Na Dobaara and the title track of Dil Dhadakne Do.

And we could not have been more thankful to give us a new rap star in the form of Ranveer Singh!
