Bigg Boss 14: Eijaz Khan Reveals Why He Opened Up About Being Molested As A Child On The Show

During one of the most intriguing tasks of Bigg Boss season 14, the contestants revealed their deepest darkest secrets in order to win the immunity stone. While Nikki Tamboli revealed that she had been kidnapped, Jasmin Bhasin shared that she tried to end her life and Rubina Dilaik stated that she and husband Abhinav Shukla were about to get divorced. Eijaz Khan, on the other hand, left fans and housemates heartbroken when he revealed that he was molested as a child, which is why he has a problem with touch.

Eijaz recently came out of the BB house due to his prior commitments. In an interview with IANS post his exit, the actor revealed why he chose the platform to talk about his childhood trauma. Eijaz shared, “I chose that moment to share my secret primarily because it was the truth. This show is a reality show. It is among the shows that have the biggest outreach. I believe that there are children out there who will get inspired and come out. They will take therapy and say, 'If Eijaz Khan can do it I can do it, too'. That's what matters.”

While Eijaz won the immunity stone and many housemates showed sympathy after hearing his story, the actor feels some contestants were insensitive enough to use it against him. Eijaz stated, “People used it against me. People used it as a trigger but that's okay. It didn't kill me, it just made me stronger.”
