Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 Contestant Divyanka Tripathi Opens Up About Travelling Amid Pandemic; Says ‘The Show Must Go On’

One of the most popular and adored actresses of television, Divyanka Tripathi jetted off to Cape Town at the beginning of this month along with many other celebrities to participate in Rohit Shetty’s stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Along with the rest of the contestants, she too has been sharing clips of all the behind the scenes fun on social media. However, in almost all of their posts the celebrities make it clear that they took off masks only for shooting and wore them again as soon as they were done.

In a chat with Hindustan Times, Divyanka was quoted saying, “We do not have access to any privileges, we sanitise and take great efforts to keep ourselves and those around us safe. We shoot in masks which is most uncomfortable but we go through this to make sure everyone is safe. Like the saying is, the show must go on and we are here to provide some entertainment to our viewers. In our own little way, we want to bring smiles on their faces. Not everything is all glitz and glamour and if a couple of pictures have smiling faces, it’s just for the shot and in the moment. Then we are either back to the grind or back to quarantine.”

She shared that as actors their work demands them to travel at times. But right now with the second wave of the pandemic upon us and with such a huge hike in cases, it is not easy for actors to decide to leave their homes and families. But as she said, the show must go on.
