Naagin 5 Actor Mohit Sehgal And Wife Sanaya Irani Test Negative For Coronavirus; Plan To Get Tested Again

A few days ago, Naagin 5’s Cheel Veer aka Sharad Malhotra announced that he has tested positive for novel coronavirus. Even thought he had mild symptoms, the heartthrob decided to quarantine himself at home to avoid any risks. His co-stars Surbhi Chandna aka Naagin Bani and Mohit Sehgal aka Naag Jay sent him good wishes and also got tested as they had all been shooting together since the past many weeks.

Well, Mohit took to his official handle today to share that he and wife Sanaya Irani have tested negative for COVID-19. However, they plan on getting tested again soon. Mohit shared, “RESULT- NEGATIVE. Me and @sanayairani both have been tested negative but still to be sure of it. We will be performing the tests again by Tuesday or Wednesday. They say usually after 5 days of getting in contact with the covid positive person the virus starts to spread in ur body if it has to.. Will update soon.”

Just last night Naagin Bani aka Surbhi also took to her official handle to reveal that she has tested negative for coronavirus. She wrote: “It was Important for me to keep my mind stable & Sane cause these few hours have been mentally exhausting especially the Big Stress was for the Parents. Thankyou & Big Love for the Strength #testedNEGATIVE.”

Well, we wish Sharad a speedy recovery and are glad Mohit, Surbhi and Sanaya tested negative.
