Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki: Cezanne Khan Is Not Bothered About Comparisons With Vivian Dsena

Cezanne Khan, who became a fan favorite as Anurag Basu from Kasautii Zindagi Kay, is finally returning to television after over a decade with Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. While actress Rubina Dilaik recently reprised her character of Soumya in the show, Cezanne will be seen as her long lost husband Harman. This character was played by the very handsome Vivian Dsena for 4 long years before he decided to quit the show. Makers were unable to bring him back, but much to our delight they roped in Cezanne to take the story forward.

In a recent chat with ETimes, Cezanne shared that he gave the show a nod because he loved the role. When asked if he was worried about comparisons with Vivian, he shared, “Every actor has a unique style. I have not watched any of the previous episodes of the show and have joined it with a clean slate. I am sure Vivian performed well, as he is a good actor. But, I am going to bring something different to the show and I hope that people like it. I don’t bother about the ratings and comparisons or else I won’t be able to concentrate on my work. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just want to work hard on my character.”

Talking about returning to television after such a long time, Cezanne revealed that he did suffer mild anxiety. However, the excitement of facing the camera again helped him overcome it. While it took him some time to settle in on the first day, by day two he felt like he was never away! Well, fans are quite excited to have him back and are already fawning over his chemistry with Rubina.
