Bharti Singh And Husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa's Home Searched By The NCB, Couple Detained For Questioning

The Narcotics Control Bureau that has summoned a series of celebrities so far in their drug probe that started with links stemming from the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The probe now landed the NCB at the doorstep of comedian Bharti Singh and husband Harsh Limbachiyaa’s home which was searched by the central agency on Saturday.

ANI reports that the celebrity couple has now been deatined for questioning. According to reports Harsh and Bharti’s name cropped up after the agency interrogated a drug peddler and accused them of consuming banned banned drugs. The two were reportedly present at home when the NCB searched their residence.

"She and her husband both have been detained for questioning by NCB about possession of narcotics substances," says Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director, NCB Office, Mumbai told ANI.

Prior to Bharti and Harsh, NCB had interrogated actor Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades after raiding their home and discovering a banned medical drug for which the actor was asked to submit a valid prescription after questioning.

Arjun’s friend Paul Bartel was also arrested by the NCB a day prior to Arjun’s questioning. The Australian architect was suspected as a drug supplier by the agency.

Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has also been questioned prior to that after his wife Shabana Saeed was arrested for alleged marijuana consumption and later released on bail.
