Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Karan Singh Grover To No Longer Play Mr. Bajaj?

A few days back, reports were abuzz in the TV industry that Karan Singh Grover has been roped in to play Mr. Bajaj in the reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. It excited a number of fans since this would mean that KSG would be making a comeback in the TV industry and because he was also a part of the original Kasautii, so his transformation from Sharad to Mr. Bajaj would be something to watch out for.

But fans might have to wait a little longer, or maybe infinitely, to see KSG on TV, since the latest news suggests that he is no longer being considered to play the iconic Mr, Bajaj! A source close to the production house has told Pinkvilla,

“Some rushes of his new show were seen by the creators and they realised that he would not be able to do justice to the role of Mr. Bajaj. The reason being that he would look too old opposite the main lead, Erica Fernandes and have hence decided to go ahead and keep their search on for the new Mr. Bajaj.”

Some others claimed that the makers wanted to introduce the character at the earliest after Hina Khan’s exit to keep the excitement up. But Karan has still not signed the contract and the makers seem to have been miffed with the unnecessary delay. They are, therefore, now considering someone else for the part.

Earlier, Ekta Kapoor had shared a small video of Ronit Roy and Shweta Tiwari as Mr. Bajaj and Prerna and said that she has started looking for the new Mr.Bajaj.
