KBC 12: Amitabh Bachchan Reveals He's Done Jhadu Pocha At Home During The Lockdown, Still Helps With Household Chores

Amitabh Bachchan being the superstar he is never fails to surprise us with his humility. The actor who is currently seen on the small screen hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 on a recent episode revealed how during the lockdown he has been helping at home with household chores.

When contestant Ranu Saha who was in the hot seat opposite the superstar said that the workload in the house increased for her during the lockdown, episode’s expert and journalist Richa Anirudh quizzed Big B on what he did at home during the lockdown.

Amitabh had no qualms in admitting that he was helping out at home during the lockdown and even did ‘jhadu-pooch’. He tells Richa, “Bilkul, maine sab kaam kiya hai … jhadu–poocha sab kiya hai. Khana humko pakana humko ata nahi, usko chod ke sab kaam kiya aur abhi tak kar rahe hain. [Absolutely, I have done everything, sweeping, mopping everything. I don’t know how to cook so except that I have done everything and still do it.]”

Richa found B Big’s admission a bit unbelievable like any of us would and told the actor she finds that hard to believe to which Big B said that he had expected that response from her reassuring her that he has indeed been helping at home. The star added that in fact, doing house chores during the lockdown made him realize the value of household helps.
