Naagin 5 Actor Sharad Malhotra Tests Positive For COVID-19, Wishes To 'Bounce Back Sooner And Stronger'

Naagin 5 had been piquing the interest of the audiences. The show had been soaring up the TRP charts, but now it might have hot a slag. It's because of Sharad Malhotra's health. The actor, who plays Veer Singhania on the show has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He confirmed the news.

Talking to TOI, he revealed that while he has tested positive for COVID-19, his wife Ripci has tested negative. he said, "They say if you stay positive, good things and people will be drawn to you. Well, I think, I took this line, too seriously(smiles). Unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive. I have mild symptoms and have quarantined myself at home. Thankfully, my wife Ripci has tested negative and she continues to follow all precautionary measures. I am resting at home under strict medical supervision, and I would urge my viewers to keep me in their prayers, so that I can bounce back sooner and stronger."

While he is resting and taking care under home quarantine, fans have been worried about Surbhi Chandna's health as well, who plays the leading lady in Naagin 5 and works with him.
