Updated : July 21, 2021 05:34 PM ISTThe Kapil Sharma Show is ready to return to TV. The comedy show with its new season will be seen making a few changes and that includes some reshuffling in the cast of the show. As Kapil Sharma and the troop got back together to launch their all-new season, fans spotted a new addition in comedian Sudesh Lehri while they also noticed actress Sumona Chakravarti missing from the pictures of the group.
The actress, who has been working Kapil Sharma since 2013 first on Comedy nights with Kapil and then The Kapil Sharma Show, was not spotted with the cast leading the fans to speculate that she has been dropped from the cast. Krushna Abhishek, Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, Sudesh Lehri, Chandan Prabhakar, and Kiku Sharda were seen posing on the red carpet of the event together.

Sumona, however, posted a cryptic note in her Instagram stories that hinted that she will not be returning for the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show. The note read, “You will never know if something is meant for you if you don’t give it a proper chance. Whether it’s a relationship, a new job, a new city, or a new experience, throw yourself into it completely and don’t hold back. If it doesn’t work out then it probably wasn’t meant for you and you’ll walk away without regret, knowing that you put your whole heart into it. That’s all you can ever do. It’s a horrible feeling leaving a situation knowing that you should have and could have done more. So find the courage to take that chance, find the inspiration to make your next move, and once you do, pour your heart into it and don’t look back”.
The note is an excerpt from Charlotte Freeman’s book Everything You’ll Ever Need.
