4 Upcoming Priyanka Chopra Movies That We Just Cannot Wait For

With every passing day, it feels as if Priyanka Chopra is becoming one of the biggest actresses in the world. Such is her rise to super-stardom that it is hard not to stand in awe of her achievements. And though, at times, some may feel that there are better actors to achieve that level of success, her filmography suggests otherwise.

The model-turned-actress, in the past fifteen years, has challenged the perception of audiences of a Bollywood actress by doing difficult roles. And it is because of such roles, she has reached where she is. But the good news is that despite a hit TV show in the U.S., she is continuing to make films, both as an actor and a producer.

Here are her upcoming projects:

BAYWATCH

Directed by Seth Gordon, the film version of Baywatch stars Dwayne Johnson and Priyanka Chopra. The actress plays the negative role of Victoria. Other members of the cast of the film includes Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.  

The film is slated for May 19, 2017 release.

FANNEY KHAN

The actress will reportedly appear in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next production Fanney Khan. The film stars Anil Kapoor in the lead role. The musical comedy will have Kapoor as a father to a budding singer. The movie is a remake of Dominique Deruddere’s Everybody’s Famous.

The film is set for 2017 release.

SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI'S NEXT

Rumours are rife that the actress is preparing to sign opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film/ The film will reportedly be based on the life of poet Sahir Ludhianvi.

The project is slated for 2019 release.

ANIRUDDHA ROY CHOWDHURY's NEXT

According to reports, PC is making her way back to India to work on a project she has signed with Pink director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. The film will be a women centric story which Priyanka is also keen on producing. Infact she has even roped in Ritesh Shah, the witer of Pink for the same.

Her last project was Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangajal before she took off for her Hollywood journey.
