Simmba's Tere Bin Song Is Not Bad, But Ranveer-Sara's Chemistry Just Can't Create The Spark!

The second song from Simmba is here and first things first, this one is an out and out romantic number.

Now let's come to the other elements in the song. The music for the song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, so the probability of it being another remix of a popular song is quite strong. Well, that is true, the song indeed is a remix. The song has been sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. So it wouldn't be difficult to guess that the song is a remix of his uncle, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's qawwali.

Tere Bin is the remake of Tere Bin Nahi Jina Mar Jana, which has been re-worked on many a time. Therefore, the remix of this song needed to have something absolutely fresh. Except for the 'mukhda', the lyrics have been reworked and the song is a romantic number.

If you just listen to the song, it is quite soothing and melodious. But the problem lies mostly with picturization and the lack of chemistry between the lead.

The picturiszation is that of the most typical Bollywood romantic numbers. In fact, the song has been shot in the Swiss Alps. The hero is there, the heroine is there and they are trying all the typical Bollywood poses you can think of. But there is just one small problem- Ranveer and Sara just do not have any chemistry. 

Ranveer Singh looks extremely out of element. He is calm and that is something that we just find hard to digest!
