Watch: Bollywood Stuntwoman Who Defeated Destiny!

Lost her mother at the age of 9, married off to a stranger at the age of 15, raped by her husband continuously, faced domestic violence (read head banged against the wall and beaten with a gas cylinder), had no money and nowhere to go! If you have cringed while reading it, imagine the condition of the woman who underwent it. And yet, she is not someone you’d pity, but would rather be inspired from. Because we are talking of one of the most fearless and daring stunt women of Bollywood who does not know what it means to lose. Meet Geeta Tandon, one of the fiercest stuntwoman of Bollywood, whose story would inspire you and change the way you look at life and its difficulties!

Blush, which has earlier uploaded ‘Find Your Beautiful’ featuring Radhika Apte, has come up with a short film Geeta which is the story of Geeta Tandon. It reveals her journey through the years- from surviving marital rape and domestic violence to failed attempts to escape, her final escape with her two children at the age of 20, living in odd places like gurudwaras, attempts to earn respectably and finally being able to stand up on herb own feet and sustaining herself along with her children. Geeta is now a successful woman who earns around 7-8 lakhs per year, has a house in Malad and sends her children to good school. She had also appeared in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 5 and gained prominence from the show.

Geeta, now 31, also revealed how she had almost gotten into prostitution but being the resilient woman that she is, refused to bow down and escaped to live life on her own principles and morals.

Now behind the stunts of most of the leading ladies of Bollywood like Deepika, Kareena, Aishwarya, Geeta also talks of how she had ended up burning her face on her first assignment. But she refused to give up or even get bothered. Her driving force- a respectable life for her children!

The video is not just a compelling story of a woman who had faced adversity and stood up and fought it bravely, but it also points on the societal evils present in the society. If a video like this does not stir up everyone’s consciousness, we do not know what will!
