Akshaya Naik AKA Ananya Of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Lashes Out On Trolls And Body Shamers!

Akshaya Naik, who plays Ananya in popular TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is fed up of trolls and body-shamers. In a message posted on her Instagram account, Akshaya has called out people who force women to look “perfect”.

Naik writes, “We, as women, need to get out of this entire nutshell of being perfect. Unfortunately, perfection has always been portrayed as fair, slim, wearing fully covering clothes, well mannered and obedient. Well, we need to overcome this.”

“You have given me more courage to accept myself and love my body. Be the queens of your life and let no one conquer you,” she adds.

She is not the first one to give it back to body-shamers. Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra have also been vocal about such issues in the past.
