A Masterclass From Rajamouli Which Began Three Years Ago

It was this day, three years ago when the biggest hit of all time kick-started. The brainchild of Rajamouli, this epic flick became the one for the history books. It pulled everyone, even though no major star cast was in it.

The flick was a craze among Tamil fans, as it was with Telugu and Hindi moviegoers. The historical drama captured everyone’s imagination and the graphic work easily led it to be one for the world to admire. The movie went on to win a National Award for Best Feature Film. It also gave a breakthrough to star Rana Daggubati and Prabhas in particular.

"Three years ago today, we began the shoot for our epic Baahubali. Thank you everyone for being a part of this journey," producer Shobhu Yarlagadda tweeted. The flick will have its sequel released on April 2016.
